This page explains what Popcorn collects, why, and who else sees it.
Roblox sign-in
You sign in on Roblox's own site. We only get your Roblox user ID, username, display name, and avatar. We never see your Roblox password, your .ROBLOSECURITY cookie, or your 2FA codes.
What we store
- Chats: your messages, images you attach, and the AI's replies and tool calls.
- Place memory: short notes the AI keeps about each of your games, which you can edit or clear at /places.
- Snapshots: copies of the parts of your place a turn changed (including script source), so you can restore earlier versions. We keep the last 50 per chat.
- Usage: which model answered, token counts, and prompts charged.
- Studio output: recent errors and warnings from your Studio Output window (the last 200 per session), so we can offer to fix them.
- Anti-abuse: a one-way hash of a device fingerprint, to stop one person claiming the free grant many times.
- Billing: your plan and a Stripe customer ID.
Who processes your data
- AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and providers reached through OpenRouter) receive your messages and the parts of your place the AI reads, to generate answers. Free plan requests may go to free tiers that can use your data for training. Paid plans use paid endpoints that don't train on your data.
- Tripo receives your description when you ask for a 3D model (paid plans).
- Stripe handles payments. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us.
- Supabase hosts our database and file storage.
- Sentry receives error reports when something breaks, which may include the page you were on.
We don't sell your data or use it for ads.
Deleting your data
You can delete chats and clear place memory yourself. To delete your whole account, email support@getpopcorn.gg from the Roblox account you signed in with. Unlinking Popcorn in your Roblox account settings stops us getting any new sign-in data.
Kids
Many Roblox developers are under 18. We collect only what's listed above, and buying requires being 18+ or having a parent or guardian's permission.
